UNISON Group at RES 2026 EXPO and the Regional Environmental Summit 2026: Focus on Energy Efficiency and Climate Solutions

UNISON Group participated in the Regional Environmental Summit 2026 and the international green technologies exhibition RES 2026 EXPO, held on April 22–24 in Astana. The participation was organized as part of the national pavilion of the Kyrgyz Republic, which presented the country’s approaches and solutions in the field of sustainable development and energy efficiency.

The organization was represented by President Nurzat Abdrasulova and Project Manager Gulmeerim Mavlyanova. As part of the business program, the delegation took part in key summit events and held a number of meetings with international and regional partners.

At RES 2026 EXPO, UNISON Group presented practical energy efficiency solutions, including approaches to reducing energy consumption in buildings, introducing renewable energy sources, and increasing infrastructure resilience. The organization showcased implemented projects in Kyrgyzstan demonstrating the applicability of sustainable technologies in mountainous regions and under changing climate conditions.

During the summit, representatives of the organization participated in the panel session “Mountains and Climate Change: From Vulnerability to Sustainable Development.” The discussion focused on the adaptation of mountain areas, scaling up effective solutions, and developing climate finance mechanisms. Participation in the session provided an opportunity to present national experience and highlight priority areas for future work.

In addition, the delegation participated in thematic sessions dedicated to energy transition, sustainable construction, and the development of a green economy. During the events, bilateral meetings and business negotiations were held with representatives of international organizations, donor institutions, and the business community aimed at developing cooperation and launching joint initiatives.

According to the organizers, RES 2026 EXPO brought together more than 30 countries, over 300 companies, and more than 20,000 participants, confirming its status as a key regional platform for promoting the climate agenda and exchanging best practices.

UNISON Group views participation in the summit and exhibition as part of its systematic work to promote sustainable solutions, expand partnerships, and strengthen its expert contribution to the development of the regional climate and energy agenda.
