Conducting a large-scale republican information campaign on consumer rights and energy efficiency to address the following objectives:
- To provide citizens with a practical solution to increase the flexibility of their households to cope with planned power outages in the upcoming winter period,
- To help consumers avoid corrupt practices by raising their awareness of consumer rights;
- Reduce energy consumption by raising awareness of consumer commitments and practical energy saving practices in homes and offices;
- Contribute to improving the quality of customer service and increasing public confidence in energy sector institutions;
Also, the accompanying parts of the project were:
- Development, implementation, and monitoring and evaluation of Unison's annual consumer awareness communication plan, in collaboration with an international communications consultant;
Updating the information portal for energy consumers http://zppe.net.kg/ru / with the support of a consultant and a web programmer.
- Climate Network of Kyrgyzstan (KNC)
- Network of public centers for the protection of energy consumers' rights;
- Conducting a focus group with rural residents of different areas;
- Preparing a brochure “100 practical tips on energy saving and energy consumption” in Russian and “Energy is the best way to save energy, 100 practical tips from the Council” in Kyrgyz with specific simple tips developed taking into account the recommendations;
- Preparing wall calendars “Bilip al, koldon, ünömdö!”
- Training for trainers (TOT)

- Holding a national conference on energy efficiency
- Conducting monitoring after holding public lectures
- 25 thousand copies of the brochures "100 practical tips on energy saving and energy consumption" and "Energy is the main source of energy for 100 practical lessons from the Council"
- 100 thousand copies of wall calendars "Bilip al, koldon, ïnömdö!" containing 7 useful tips in the field of consumer protection and recommendations for reducing heat loss in the home
- 25 trained specialists in conducting public lectures and consulting on 4 topics - waterproofing, seismic resistance, ventilation, heating
- 506 events held, with a confirmed number of participants - 20,631 people. About 25-30% of participants did not leave signatures on the registration sheets. In total, the total number of participants was more than 26,000 people
- Participants from neighboring villages (one aiyl district) came to the lectures; according to calculations, the number of villages covered was 575 settlements
- The portal for energy consumers has been updated, developed and launched http://energy.unison.kg/
- National Conference "Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving for Consumers" with the participation of 71 people, according to the list of participants
- Additionally, at the request of the campaign partners, the Ministry of Energy/Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic, and energy companies, 4 seminars were held for employees of JSC NESK, press services and heads of the Central Energy Department, Narynteplokommunenergo, Kyrgyzzhilkomunsoyuz
- On-site monitoring in 50 settlements with a visit to the place where the events were held, with a direct survey of 3-5 people in each village, including persons participating in the organization of public lectures (akims, heads of district administrations, etc.)
- Telephone contact with 220 participants of the events according to the contacts indicated in the registration sheets, with a direct question about the measures used
- Restructuring of the organization PF "Unison" into the alliance of organizations "Unison Group", with a new logo, website, and with newly created communication goals, a system for recording feedback, and the use of all possible and effective ways and methods of communication
